Your obligations under the Work, Health and Safety Act
Your obligations under the Work, Health and Safety Act include –
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety
- Take reasonable care to ensure you don’t affect the health and safety of others
- Carry out tasks in a safe way
- Follow the reasonable work health and safety instructions
- Co-operate with the reasonable policies and procedures of the organisation.
- Carrying out activities within your role you have been assigned
- Not carrying out activities that you do not have the skills to undertake
- To not do anything that would seem to be unsafe
- Reading, understanding and cooperating with the policies and procedures provided
- Follow all legislative requirements
