Step 3 – Update plans, budgets and risks

Along the way things will change so it’s important to capture changes and experiences.

Despite your best efforts you cannot plan for everything. During implementation things will come up that would have been impossible to anticipate. Plans, schedules, budgets and risks are not static, so during this phase you may find yourself continually updating these documents. This is a normal part of project implementation.

At the end of Phase 3 you should have:

✓  Calendar of regular team meetings (with a meeting agenda)
✓  Clear lines of responsibility and accountability
✓  Regularly updated plan, schedule, budget and risks register
