Step 1 – Assemble your project team

Most projects will require more than one person to achieve the results.

Look at your project proposal and consider what skills and time commitment you need. Having a team of people, even if it is small, who understand the project and support its implementation will increase the likelihood of success.

Agree on how often you will meet as a project team to monitor the plan, solve roadblocks and mitigate risks. If you have tight timeframes it may be weekly or, for longer projects with more time, fortnightly may suffice.

Good communication is key so ensure you meet regularly enough that you can keep the project moving.
